Hand sanitizer will be provided and must be used prior to entrance.
Please note: Niagara Cave is a fairly strenuous tour with many stair steps. If you are uncertain of your ability to do a strenuous tour while wearing a face mask, you may wish to consider visiting Niagara Cave at a later date when face coverings are not mandated.
Please continue to check this this website for May tour availability and updates or changes.
We invite you to visit our family owned and operated cave, which has been rated among the best in the nation, to witness nature's power and beauty underground.

Southeastern Minnesota is known for its karst topogrography. Karst landscapes are dominated by limestone rock formations very near the surface. Common features of karst regions are sinkholes, springs, disappearing streams, bluffs, and cave systems.
The cave system itself began forming millions of years ago, as water found its way into cracks and crevices in the limestone and slowly widened them, creating passageways that now give us a look into the geology below our feet in this Driftless Region.
